Year 3 / 4 < Scratch >
MIT’s newest version of the revolutionary Scratch program is Scratch 3.0.
Exploring digital art, music, games, and chatbots, children will learn key coding concepts of sequencing, algorithms, variables and conditional statements - all the time developing their problem solving and computational thinking skills.
All projects will be built in our <Think> Big Scratch Classroom Studio, where coders can sace, share and collaborate in a secure and guided environment.
Perfect for both beginners and budding young coders!
Year 5 / 6 < 3D Design & Printing >
““Flat is boring!”
In this term’s club, our coders will explore 3D design software to produce their own 3D creations, learning about the benefits and limitations of a technology that will increasingly shape their futures.
They will learn about CAD (Computer Aided Design), key 3D design concepts, developing their problem solving, critical thinking, and key computational thinking skills of decomposition and pattern seeking.
Completing different weekly challenges, children will also design a small object which will be printed using our own 3D printers towards the end of term.
Wednesdays, after-school to 4.25pm
Summer Term club starts on 30th April, ends 2nd July
